Terms of Use

  • Edit as much as you like, but don't remove any credits present. They are the small teal © symbols at the bottom of every main section of the carrd. Leave them alone. You may change the color to match your custom palette for your carrd but do not make them invisible or hard to see.

  • Don't claim as your own work OR use this template as a base for a different template OR use it for any commissions, paid or not. If you use this template, I don't care how much you edit it, go wild, but the credit has to stay intact and you cannot claim it as your own.

  • Do not use to promote illegal, harmful, or hateful content. No burn books, no hate blogs, no callout blogs, nothing of the sort.


HOW TO CONVERT TO SINGLE MUSE

  • Delete everything below  #muses  and BEFORE #connections.  ( Do not delete #connections itself. )  Make sure you highlight the containers to delete instead of each individual element as that will save lots of time by deleting things in bulk.

  • On the link bar on the main page, at the top of your guidelines page, and at the top of your connections page, change the link from #muses to #muse1 , or alternatively to whatever you rename the section with the muse biography. Change the link title to whatever you prefer, like stats / bio / info / about / etc. Do the same for anywhere else that links to the muses page you have just deleted.

  • In the #muse1 section  ( or whatever you renamed the muse info section to ),  change the return link in the top bar from #muses to #. This way the return will go back to the main page on the carrd.

  • NOTE :  If you rename the scroll point as well  ( the yellow code line directly beneath #muse1 itself ),  you need to change the link of the back to top button to match the new name of the scroll point or else the button will not work.


HOW TO ADD MORE MUSE BIOS

  • At the bottom of the previous muse info section (should be the very bottom of the carrd unless you add other things), add a new #sectionbreak and name it what you wish. If you don't know how to do that, you can just copy the #muse1 break but you MUST rename it. Every section must have an individual name to link to, even if you just go with something simple like #muse1 #muse2 #muse3, so on and so forth.

  • Directly below that, add a scroll point  ( the yellow line ),  or as mentioned above, copy the previous scroll point and rename it if you don't know how to set one up.

  • Copy everything between  #muse1  and your new section and drag everything into place. Make sure you highlight the individual containers to delete instead of each individual element as that will save lots of time by copying and moving things all at once. If done right, you should only have to copy / move 4 things for each new muse you add, unless you also need to copy the section breaks.

  • Go to the back to top button at the bottom of your new muse info section and rename the link to whatever you named the scroll point, NOT the section itself.  ( The yellow, NOT the blue. )

  • Link to the new muse bio wherever you wish. If you link within the carrd itself, such as linking to it from the muse roster here, then you can just link with #whateveryounamedthis, but if you link outside of the carrd (i.e. from tumblr) then you need to put the full link. So your link would be ( https://yourcarrdname.carrd.co/#whateveryounamedthis ).


HOW TO ADD MORE CATEGORIES

  • Make a new yellow scroll point and place it between the last category and the box with the "back to top" button, or wherever you want your new category to go if not at the bottom. Give the scroll point a unique name.

  • Copy a box with the category title and a box with the section of muses in it and move them below the new scroll point you have just made.

  • Click the category buttons at the top, add a new button, and link it to the scroll point you just made. You can rearrange the buttons if the order of the categories has changed.

NPCS

DOM PEDRO — cooper used to work for dom pedro's father and his father's father before that. generations of completing bounties for the family, a consistent source of caps and his anti-feral chems. when dom's father took over the family's illicit business dealings, he took them from bad to worse, crossing the ghoul's line in the sand, resulting in cooper turning on dom pedro's father and killing him. years later, dom, now a grown man, sought vengeance on the man who took his family from him, swearing to do the same to coop in turn, but not knowing where his family could be, instead, he buried cooper alive, keeping him from continuing his search for his daughter. it's unclear how long he was buried, some rumors citing 30 years, but what is known is that every year or so, dom has him dug back up, cuts a piece or two off of him and puts him back in the ground. when he finds out coop's been freed, his hunt for vengeance will continue.

CHARLIE WHITEKNIFE — a friend of coop's pre-war that he met first during his time in the marines, and who also later joined him in hollywood, staring alongside him in many of his films as the sheriff. best man in his wedding.

CAPI — Cooper's Captain while he was in the Marines who later, after retirement, became a chef and is the owner/executive chef of a high-end restaurant in LA.

BIOGRAPHY

Born and raised on the farms of 2020s America, you grew up with strong sense of pride and belief in the American Dream. You went to church every Sunday, and said grace around the dinner table. You knew right from wrong and acquired a fierce sense of justice, looking out for the weak and downtrodden. It was your duty as a christian, your duty as a child of the lord to love thy neighbor.And to love your country. Though you grew and your enthusiasm for these ideals quieted, they never left you. So when the world was at war with those challenging those ideals, seeming to spit in the face of them, you donned your armor and did your duty. You fought against those dirty communists for the United States Marines. Your faith was challenged, your body, mind and soul as well, but you never fell too far of course. Your belief and strict adherence to these principals softened but still they lingered. You didn't think too much about them but you never let them go.By the time you left the military you were tired. You'd fought and done what you had to and had pride in what you'd done for your country and its people, but you were tired. And so you became an actor, playing a cowboy on the big screen. But it's like you never left, you're still fighting those Reds again. This time the war is fought on a stage rather than a battle field. There are casualties here too, friends and colleagues abandoning the American Dream and calling it bullshit. Friends you would die for were now said to be your enemies and you started to question the very thought. You knew these people, they were good people. Though you doubted them, too, you listened. BATTLE MASTER

Those who emulate the archetypal Battle Master employ martial techniques passed down through generations. To a Battle Master, combat is an academic field, sometimes including subjects beyond battle such as weaponsmithing and calligraphy. Not every fighter absorbs the lessons of history, theory, and artistry that are reflected in the Battle Master archetype, but those who do are well-rounded fighters of great skill and knowledge.

COMBAT SUPERIORITY: You learn maneuvers that you can use once per attack:
- evasive footwork, goading attack, precision attack, riposte, distracting strike
STUDENT OF WAR: You gain proficiency with one type of artisan's tool (tinker's kit)
KNOWING YOUR ENEMY: If you spend at least one minute observing or interacting with another creature outside combat, you can learn certain information about its capabilities compared to your own.
EXTRA ATTACK: You can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Rogue

EXPERTISE: Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses: history, perception, survival or thieves' tools
SNEAK ATTACK: You know how to strike subtly and exploit a foe's distraction. Once per turn, you can deal an extra 1d6 damage to one creature you hit with an attack if you have an advantage on the attack roll. The attack must use a finesse or a ranged weapon. You don't need advantage on the attack roll if another enemy of the target is within 5 feet of it, that enemy isn't incapacitated, and you don't have disadvantage on the attack roll.
THIEVES' CANT: During your rogue training you learned thieves' cant, a secret mix of dialect, jargon, and code that allows you to hide messages in seemingly normal conversation. Only another creature that knows thieves' cant understands such messages. It takes four times longer to convey such a message than it does to speak the same idea plainly.
-In addition, you understand a set of secret signs and symbols used to convey short, simple messages, such as whether an area is dangerous or the territory of a thieves' guild, whether loot is nearby, or whether the people in an area are easy marks or will provide a safe house for thieves on the run.
CUNNING ACTION: Your quick thinking and agility allow you to move and act quickly. You can take a bonus action on each of your turns in combat. This action can be used only to take the dash, disengage or hide actions.
EVASION: You can nimbly dodge out of the way of certain area effects, such as a red dragon's fiery breath or an ice storm spell. When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.
RELIABLE TALENT: You have refined your chosen skills until they approach perfection. Whenever you make an ability check that lets you add your proficiency bonus, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.

ASSASSIN

You focus your training on the grim art of death. Those who adhere to this archetype are diverse: hired killers, spies, bounty hunters, and even specially anointed priests trained to exterminate the enemies of their deity. Sealth, poison, and disguise help you eliminate your foes with deadly efficiency.

ASSASSINATE: You are at your deadliest when you get the drop on your enemies. You have advantage on attack rolls against any creature that hasn't taken a turn in the combat yet. In addition, any hit you score against a creature that is surprised is a critical hit.
INFILTRATION EXPERTISE: You can unfailingly create false identities for yourself. You must spend seven days and 25 gp to establish the history, profession, and affiliations for an identity. You can't establish an identity that belongs to someone else. If you adopt the new identity as a disguise, other creatures believe you to be that person until given an obvious reason not to.
